Local Elections 2003
Resolution on the Method of Participation of the Citizens of the Republic of Moldova Residing in the Commune Chitcani and the Villages Cremenciug and Gisca in the Elections for the Causeni District Council
23 April 2003
In Accordance with the Parliament Decision no.128-XV of 20 March 2003, the general local elections have been determined for 25 May 2003. Since the public administration authorities in these localities have blocked the processes of setting up the electoral bodies and that of ensuring the participation of the citizens of Moldova in the local elections, the Central Electoral Commission decides:
It is hereby ruled that the citizens of the territorial administrative units of Tighina County (commune Chitcani, and villages Cremenciug and Gisca), where no precincts have been established, may participate in the 25 May 2003 elections for the District Council Causeni at the following precincts:
- Voters from commune Chitcani and village Cremenciug will vote at precinct no. 23, Copanca, based in the building of the local Russian general school.
- Voters from village Gisca will vote at precinct no. 27, Firladeni, based in the building of the local general school.
The voting will take place from 07.00 to 21.00, pursuant to the Electoral Code.
The voters from these localities will be allowed to vote by presenting to the precinct electoral bureau their identity papers that show that they are residents in these localities.
The voters shall be entered into the supplementary voter rolls (about which the electoral bureau will make a note in writing). They will drop their voting ballots into the ballot box bearing the inscription "special box".
Upon the tabulation of votes, the precinct electoral bureau will open the "special boxes", count the ballots found in there, and write a special protocol.
Data from this protocol will be included in the protocol of the electoral district council of Causeni district no. 10 on the tabulation of votes and the election of the Causeni District Council.
